We built the Globe Theatre of Rome in 2003, in a scorching hot summer, employing all our forces in the making of an extraordinary work!
20 years have passed and we still remember – proudly remember – the realization process that led to the first show by Gigi Proietti that – as excited and happy as we all were – performed an incredible Romeo and Giuliet during the 2003 White Night of Rome.
Reading about the collapse of the staircase saddened us.
The Globe Theatre, being a 20-year-old wooden building, needs to be “fed”, preserved, protected.
In the spring of 2021 we did the maintenance interventions we were asked to do, and the theatre season of that year went on well, without any problem.
In 2022, maintenance works were entrusted to another company.
Our warmest thought goes to the boys and girls involved in the terrible incident of the staircase collapse.
