Davide Cenci Store is a famous boutique in the heart of Rome, a few steps away from the Pantheon and from the Italian Parliament, and has been a real institution for the city for decades.

The restyling project was cured by Alvisi Kirimoto + Partners and is based on an essential but at the same time the functional idea of design. The core and the reference of the project embody the combination of the values of the brand: tradition and innovation. As for this reason, the interiors were realized with contemporary materials, and besides the restored modern antiques we find built-to-drawing furniture in curved mahogany wood, glass and lacquered elements.

Thanks to a curved-base staircase entirely made of wood, customers can reach the first floor where they can find the old Cenci tailor lab. Restored because too small for the present needs of the boutique, the project design has turned the lab into an exhibition room, dynamic and intimate at the same time. This place is characterized by already-existing architecture and rhythmic background, hosting clothes, accessories and furniture in precious wood. The Cenci orange, which is to be found in spaces and details (see the fake ceiling in framed textile) emphasizes the brand and creates the identity of the new “Since 1926” collection and of the new fragrance for man and for woman, especially made for the brand.
