For their debut in Italy the Dutch hotellerie group CitizenM has chosen Rome, precisely Lungotevere De’ Cenci. Devoto Design took care of the public areas of this first CitizenM hotel.
CitizenM is an urban hotel company that is quickly growing. Its motto is “hotels for the wise, not the wealthy”. They launched the idea of an “affordable luxury hotel” because their main objective is that of letting everybody be able to live an international and high-quality experience.
Devoto Design delivered all the bespoke interiors that compose the lobby, the bakery, bar and rooftop restaurant. These furnishings are strongly tailored to the space and were built with simple and eco-friendly materials in accordance to CitizenM‘s soul and belief in an afforable luxury experience.
