The project of the Team Iwakiri for this café is to be included in the rich and highly decorative scenic design typical of the 1920s, when the Alberto Sordi Gallery (former (Colonna Gallery) was built.

The concept consists of the realization of free-standing elements, like boats floating in the sea, without interfering with the context. The project definition reflects the care for details and the choice of the finishing that reminds of the nautical design. The truncated-cone shape, cut by transversal plans, has a fir wood structure and a curved cladding in birchwood, holding all the food technologies that are necessary to the ongoing café activities.
