In the 2000s, the discovery of a thermal spring beneath Milan led to the reconversion of the former De Montel stables by the group Terme & Spa Italia into a thermal resort.  On a project by THDP, Devoto Design delivered furnishings and claddings in the internal areas.

People are welcomed by two symmetrical counters in travertine, wood, and metal that furnish the lobby. Here, a long glazed corridor overlooking the internal patio – both a phìsical and an experiential path – leads to the various treatment and leisure areas.

Luxury materials and natural finishes, in harmony with the surrounding environment: Devoto Design’s furnishings are marked by a mix of raw materials: stones, wood, metal, and fabrics. With soft lines and matte finishes, they help evoke a sense of relaxation and well-being. Attention to detail and material choices contribute to making the spaces of the thermal center truly unique.
