Design | Studio Lococo

The project of the specialistic clinics at Gemelli hospital was about the creation of new functional spaces inside the complex structure of this facility. The project by Studio Lococo is based on strongly communicating aesthetic principles from a chromatic and graphic point of view. The furniture is linear, with a clean and iconographical design, in order not to deceive the strictness requested by such a space dedicated to healthcare.
At the same time, space is decorated with monochromatic matt-coloured and transparent surfaces that reproduce a geometric and strong texture.

The materials we used are laminate for the horizontal surfaces, chosen because of its endurance and cleanability, iron for the supporting structures, aluminum and glass for the vertical elements.
